"Tracks" in an original 7"x5" plein air oil painting. I enjoyed exploring the forest and came across these tracks in the snow. They created a good lead into the painting. It was snowing lightly while I worked and the trees were popping. They were starting to unthaw after a few days of being in a deep freeze!
